Chair: Djuro Sen
Djuro Sen is a Kamilaroi man born in Goondiwindi on the Queensland-NSW border. All his life he’s had a passion for the environment, science, technology and sport which has lead him to becoming one of Australia’s leading technology reporters. He as worked at all the major news out lets including Channel 7 and ABC and has since returned to Channel 7, working out of the Sydney newsroom as a senior technology and sports reporter. Djuro also currently hosts NITV’s weekly Rugby League show ‘Over the Black Dot” and is a technology reporter for NITV as well. His passion for the both the environment and technology has lead him to Chair this unique and important sustainable science and technology network and through his role as the Chair of the STREAMS Network he aims to draw from his global influence in the science and technology space to raise awareness about sustainable approaches to developing technology. Djuro believes that Indigenous communities can provide great insight into creating sustainable communities as they have been doing this for thousands of years.
